Wales Heat is the matching desk behind walesheat.co.uk. We help homeowners and landlords in Wales get quotes for Gas Safe boiler work, loft and cavity insulation, servicing, and certificates. This notice explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to reach us.
Who we are
Wales Heat operates this website and the quote desk. For data protection purposes we are the controller of enquiry data you send us. You can contact us by calling 07898 183445 during desk hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00–18:00.
What we collect
When you use Get a Quote we ask for your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and a short description of the job — typically postcode, property type, fuel, and the work you want. If you call the desk we take the same kind of notes so we can match you.
The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts. That is a third-party request from your browser. We do not run advertising pixels or analytics tags on these pages.
How we use it
We use enquiry details to match you with a suitable installer, to call or write back about surveys and quotes, and to keep a short record of what was asked for. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering a request you started, and on taking steps toward a contract when you ask for a quote.
Who we share it with
We pass relevant job details to Gas Safe installers on our book who cover your postcode, so they can survey and quote. Quote forms are processed by FormSubmit, which delivers the message to the desk. We do not sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing lists.
How long we keep it
Open enquiries stay on the desk until the job is matched, declined, or goes quiet. We then keep a limited record for up to 24 months in case you come back about the same property, unless a longer period is needed for a complaint or legal claim.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to matching that is based on legitimate interests. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. To use these rights, call the desk on the number above.
Children
The site is for homeowners, landlords, and trades. We do not knowingly collect details from children.
